The name is new but the quality of our animals, and the care and attention we give to caring for our animals and finding them good homes and partners is not. The ranch name is born from the necessity to brand our horses after having several of our best horses stolen from pasture, run through the auction, and sadly ending up mostly going to the meat market (this despite the fact that the auction mart was informed they were stolen horses before they auctioned them off). The only way we could prevent this from happening again was to brand our horses so the R Diamond brand was created.
R Diamond is not just our brand – it is how we view each and every animal on our ranch and each and every animal that comes into our care.
Based out of Bergen, Alberta, Our Diamonds Ranch specializes in rare, hypo-allergenic Curly Horses, as well as Saint Bernards and Basset Hounds. The ranch also offers horse starting and training, farrier services, seminars, and unique blacksmithing services.
